The COVID-19 pandemic has brought into sharp focus the reality that many people face the end of life unprepared, alone, and struggling to find meaning in their suffering. At the same time, changing family structures and societal dynamics have made it increasingly challenging for loved ones to provide the compassionate care and support that is so crucial during this profound transition.

Farishtey, which means "angels" in Hindi, is a pioneering program that aims to bridge this gap by training and certifying end-of-life doulas, or "Farishtas," to provide holistic care and companionship to individuals and their families as they navigate the final stages of life.

Rooted in ancient wisdom traditions and grounded in contemporary best practices, the Farishtey program recognizes death as a sacred and deeply personal experience that deserves to be honored with reverence, dignity, and compassion. Our Farishtas are trained to respect and integrate the unique cultural, spiritual, and religious beliefs of those they serve, creating a nurturing environment that promotes emotional acceptance, peaceful preparation, and a sense of meaning and closure.
